Sinéad will participate at this year’s shows of Night of the Proms in Antwerp, Belgium and in Rotterdam and Arnhem, Holland. Night of the Proms is a fun-guaranteed musical night out in the unique concept of ‘Classic meets pop’. As one of the most visited and most attractive musical events in Europe, it takes the audience on a journey through rousing and familiar classical repertoire and timeless pop classics, backed by a mind-blowing visual and aural setting. The first Night of the Proms concert was staged at the Antwerp Sportpaleis in October 1985. Since then, the fabulous musical spectacular welcomed more than 7 million visitors in several European countries and attracted many famous pop and rock stars, such as Bryan Ferry, UB40, Sting, Andrea Bocelli, Coolio, James Brown, Chic, Tears For Fears, Joe Cocker, Donna Summer, Status Quo, Zucchero, Al Jarreau, etc. who shared their love of music with people of all ages and different musical persuasions. Joining Sinéad at the shows in Antwerp are Simple Minds, Live, John Miles and musical humorists Igusdesman & Joo. In Holland, Simple Minds, John Miles and Igudesman & Joo will also be present.
